1. Sure, probably.

2. Rather.

4. Just keep going. Write your way through whatever's blocking and get. the. words. down. Easier to cut and edit a million things out than to continue to sit and stare.

5. AHHH I SO WATCHED A "NOVA" ON THIS VERY TOPIC ON SATURDAY NIGHT. And I understood so, so little of it. But what I did get blew my mind.

6. It is awesome, isn't it? And you can't replicate it. Even if your mom promises she can, she can't. She's just going to throw some weird off-brand candy in white frosting P.S. MOM HOW IS THAT EVEN CHEAPER?

That's all I gots. Also, word verification is "uncomp"--seems appropriate, even if you're not composing right now ...

1. yes. almost. the pleasure i experienced while being photographed was wonderful but fleeting, and did nothing to abate my throbbing foot pain. the pleasure and the pain are only connected conceptually; in reality they are completely disconnected from one another and don't "speak" to each other at all. so i find my construction of this question problematic to begin with.
2. yes, yes, very strange. i cried a bit about it on essex street. (based on an experience that happened moments previously.)
3. i keep dreaming about alison goldfrapp because i want her and i want to be her. (love is a hideous bitch goddess, isn't it?)and because her voice is enchanting.
3a. goldfrapp was played in a target commercial?!?!
4. (you guys covered most of this one.) the rest has to do with My Own Personal Issues Regarding the Other.
5. leaves look like the mandelbrot set, cracks in ice like the julia set. ah, chaos.
6. (the jury is out on this one. but i think it has to do with sweet, sweet petrochemicals.)
7. is it? yes. would foucault say this? no, because he's a slippery bastard. jerk.
8. hmph. once again, it mostly has to do with My Own Personal Issues Regarding the Other.
9. a wheatpaste is a graffito-tag that involves newsprint and, well, wheatpaste. they are somwhat sensitive to damnpness. i'm going to consult with elbow-toe on this one.
10.....? only time will tell. and yes, both. always both.and both means obsession. yes.
